How it works

  1. Type your postcode, or use your location. The app works out your council on your phone.

  2. Pick your address. Your phone asks your council for your bin days.

  3. Get one clear answer. Tonight's bins, and the next date for every bin.

At 7pm the night before, you get a reminder. If a bank holiday moves a collection, the app says so.

For most councils, your address never reaches our server.

Your phone talks to your council directly. Our server only hands out the instructions for talking to each council. For most councils, it never sees your postcode, your address or your bin days. A few councils' websites won't answer a phone. For those, our server asks for you, and doesn't keep what it passes on.

  • Two weeks at a glance. Tap any day to see what's collected, or when the next collection is.
  • Collected at 8:57am. Where your council shows collection times (Sutton so far), the app tells you once your bins have been emptied, then moves on to the next collection.
  • Works offline. Your last bin days are saved on your phone.
  • A 7pm reminder the night before. It says when a collection has moved.
  • Share with your household. Send a link or QR code, and everyone gets their own reminder. The link carries your address, so share it with people you live with.
  • Report a missed bin. One tap to your council's own page.
  • High contrast. Turn on a high-contrast theme any time.
  • Disruption warnings. Strikes, snow, delays: when your council publishes a notice the app can read, you'll see it and get one alert. None of the councils we cover publish these yet.
